Mr. R. Gopalakrishnan followed his father into the family textile business, and in 1991 established Royal Classic Mills (P) Ltd with the intent of taking it considerably further.
He has steered the company for three decades of consistent growth. With a Diploma in Textile Technology and more than 38 years of experience, his expertise spans the entire manufacturing chain, from fibre through to finished fashion.
Under his stewardship the company has grown into a textile major with revenues of INR 700 crores across export and domestic segments, now known as Royal Classic Mills.

Mr. T. R. Sivaram has served as Managing Director for the past 28 years. A civil engineer by training, he brings wide experience across fabric exports, garment manufacturing, brand development and retail.
He oversees Classic Polo and its omni-channel presence across India and other Asian markets. Today the brand stands as a prime menswear solution in the mid-premium category of India’s organised retail industry, with a growing base of repeat customers whose loyalty speaks to the quality of the product.
